The Data Refreshed As Of attribute (in the System Info hierarchy) is the computer clock's datetime captured in the underlying SQL data warehouse during its most recent refresh. It was then passed along, with the rest of the data, when this data source extract was refreshed.

Best practice is to incorporate the Data Refreshed As Of attribute into reports and dashboards to let the report user know how current this data is.


  • In a view's title: drag it to the Detail box and then insert it into the view's title.
  • As a Tooltip: drag it to the Tooltip box. It will appear in the tooltip when the user hovers over a measure.
  • In a Dashboard: Add it to the column of a dedicated view, then include that view in the dashboard.
