Some data sources have monthly totals and ending balances, not day-to-day transaction detail. As such, the dates are all as of the end of the month. So a mid-month To Date filter would not work properly. Thus, these monthly-total data sources use a YTD at EOM (Year to Date at End of Month) attribute instead of the YTD attribute.



The data sources also have Year-Qtr and Year-Month attributes, to make chart creation easier, especially for non-calendar-month fiscal years.
