Fiscal years that have periods that correspond to the normal calendar months are quickly customized in the DataSelf back-end and within the DataSelf Web Server's data sources.


By default, these fiscal years use the year number of the month in which the year ends.


DataSelf Back-end Technicians:

  1. The fiscal year is customized into the SQL data warehouse when the company is implemented. (The default, calendar year DsTimeSeries.xls file is replaced with one customized for the fiscal year and a one-time import updates the SYSTEM_Calendar table.)
  2. The tds (Tableau Data Source) files' date fields also must be changed to reflect the fiscal year before the data source is published.
