Whenever the ETL and SQL data warehouse refresh, the Date formulas are recalculated based on the current computer clock datetime.

A relative date formula calculates the difference between historical dates and the date the data is being refreshed (i.e. "today"). This allows you to filter a report with a date that is always rolling forward - you do not have to manually change the reporting date or month or year when using the report.

You can also use relative date attributes in calculations, such as Sales This Year and Sales Last Year.

The following pages list the types of relative date fields. (They all follow the fiscal year.)

The date fields can be found in the _C_Dates and _C_DataRefreshedAsOf views.
