The WorkDays measure group allows you to calcuate how much needs to be sold each of the remaining days in this month to meet the monthly sales goal. Or extrapolate the results so far this year to the end of the year.


Each Work Days measure is based on the Data Refreshed As Of date (usually today), and thus is updated with each data warehouse data refresh.



DataSelf Back-end Technicians:

  1. The fields are in the _C_DataRefreshedAsOf view.
  2. In the tds file, create a Measures Folder for them. Their default aggregation needs to be Average, Minimum, or Maximum. (Since the same values will be in every record, they need to not Sum.)


Advanced Option:

It is also possible to add the number of WorkDays in Month, Quarter, and/or Year for every date. This would make it possible to compare the average performance per work day over any time periods. Ask your DataSelf support person for more information.
