Feature Description
- DataSelf ETL+: Easy and powerful extraction, transformation, and loading of data into a SQL data warehouse with AI-assisted automation. Licensing options include:
- Named-user: A license assigned to an individual user.
- Data Warehouse: Manages one data warehouse or reporting database.
- Data Source: A specific data source repository, e.g.: one MS SQL Server DB, the data behind an OData URL, or one NetSuite ODBC DSN). Google Sheets, MS Excel, CSV each count as one data source each regardless of how many files/data sets are extracted.
- Data Refresh Frequency: The tables above describe the maximum scheduled refresh frequency supported by each edition. Manual refreshes are unlimited.
- BI Platform Connectors:
- Microsoft Fabric / Power BI: Manages the publishing of workbook templates and refresh of semantic models for one Power BI Service, as well as data transfers to and from Fabric Warehouse, Fabric Lakehouse, and OneLake.
- Tableau: Manages the publishing of workbook templates and refresh of Tableau data sources for one Tableau site.
- DataSelf ETL+ Server: Hosted in DataSelf Cloud Services (more info here).
- Optional: Dedicated deployments are available for strict compliance requirements such as HIPAA and FedRAMP. Contact us.

- Multi-tenant Serverless Infrastructure: Hosted on AWS or Azure SQL. Connections are secured with SSL encryption. Geo-redundant backups are maintained for resilience. Backup downloads are available upon request for an additional fee.
- Unlimited Data Storage: Unlimited storage within the client’s multi-tenant instance.
- Direct Database Access: Authorized users can connect directly to the cloud data warehouse using tools such as Excel, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), Power BI, and Tableau. Maximum database permissions: dbo. Supported authentication methods include SQL authentication or Microsoft Entra ID password authentication.
- Optional: Private cloud instance(s).
- System requirements:
- DataSelf ETL+ Desktop: Only required for on-premises/private-cloud extractions and/or ETL+ Desktop maintenance (many clients don’t need ETL+ Desktop). Minimum requirements: 2 CPU threads, 4GB of free RAM, 100GB of free disk space, and fixed public IP address. Windows Server 2016 or 2019 or 2022, Windows 10 or 11. - Optional – BI Platform Requirements:
- Power BI: The client to provide and maintain their own Power BI Service and user licenses. Contact us for assistance. Enterprise collaboration requires Power BI Pro licenses (usually NOT included with MS Office suite), and Power BI Premium might be required for some users.
- Tableau Cloud: please source your licenses from salesforce.com. Contact us for assistance. Tableau Creator user: Editing Tableau data sources and creating elaborate reports & dashboards. IMPORTANT: Each on-premises data warehouse might require one Tableau Creator user to refresh the Tableau data sources or install the Tableau Bridge. If you’re only ordering one Creator user, this user might also need to be assigned to run the scheduled refreshes’ Windows services. A Creator license can be installed in up to two different computers. Many clients don’t need this license; thus it’s not included in the scope by default. You might order it later. Tableau Explorer users: Viewing, receiving scheduled email reports, and design reports & dashboards. Tableau Viewer users: Viewing, receiving scheduled email reports & dashboards.
