What Does this Mean for DataSelf Users?
The Salesforce acquisition of Tableau was big industry news last week. As DataSelf Analytics works with both of these systems, we reviewed the announcement closely. We don’t expect to see major changes for DataSelf’s Tableau users. Salesforce announced that Tableau will continue to focus on its current mission and customers while providing greater analytics capabilities for Salesforce users.
DataSelf Analytics will continue to extend Salesforce BI with a data warehouse and 1,500 reports, dashboards and KPIs for CRM. We also offer an alternative for companies who wish to use Salesforce with Microsoft’s Power BI.

20,000 attendees are expected at the Tableau Conference November 12- 15 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. With 600 sessions over 4 days, there will be something for everyone using Tableau.

Review of ITA Spring Collaborative
ITA is for partners of all technology lines. It was not unusual to see a Sage employee hugging a Microsoft Dynamics partner, or an Acumatica partner having drinks with a NetSuite partner. Part of the draw of ITA is that attendees get out of the cycle of networking with people in their own world and get exposure to ideas and experiences from leaders in other communities who share similar challenges in leading a technology business.
